DAUGHTERS OF ISHTAR

WOMEN”S MYSTERY CIRCLE & PRIESTESS PATHWAY 2010

Are you called to walk a sacred feminine path this year?

If you ready to claim your spiritual birthright as a woman and deepen your intimate relationship with that great mystery which is Goddess, then read on…

For thousands of years, women have encountered the sacred mystery of the divine directly - through their intimate daily experience of living in the world in a female body.   The Ishtar Mysteries for women are a direct experiential path to deepening self-knowledge and intimate relationship with the Feminine Divine.

We are living in interesting times.  Women are coming together in groups all over the planet at this time.  They are coming together to vision new, more sustainable ways of living and relating, drawing on the ancient wisdom traditions of the world and their own embodied experience.  Their hope -  to catalyse and lead the evolution of sustainable local cultures in the face of an uncertain global future.

The Ishtar Mysteries is one such project.  In a culture which has taken the pursuit of individualism to its furthest extreme, the future appears to lie in finding ways to work more communally, in intersecting circles of mutual support.  Through this sacred women’s circle. Ishara and Miriam will be sharing the fruits of their personal journey as priestesses of the Goddess, as well as opening the way for new insights and inspirations to come through within our rituals and discussions.

If you are ready to
o    deepen your sense of original blessing – of the gift of being born female
o    tune your inner receptors – your instincts and intuition - to the frequency of the Divine Feminine
o     invite the mystery of Goddess into your heart &  make yourself more available to direct experience of the sacred at work in your daily life
o    tap into and unleash your personal creativity
o    develop the skills you need to co-create & share sacred ceremony
o    discern your innate gifts and how you are being called to express and share them with others
o    explore what it might mean to be a priestess in the 21st century

If these are things that interest you, then we cordially invite you to join us in a women’s circle dedicated to exploring the mysteries of the Sacred Feminine this year.

The Ishtar mysteries for women are a direct experiential path to deepening self-knowledge and intimate relationship with the Feminine Divine.

Our women’s circle will be exploring a cycle of eight mystery points through the year - each of which corresponds to an aspect of our embodied experiences as women -  through a combination of ritual & ceremony, group discussion, personal reflection and other creative exercises.  The group will offer a blend of teaching & co-learning, as well as co-creation of rituals for each of the eight mystery points.

This will be a closed group with a 10 month commitment (March-December 2010).

The intention is to meet fortnightly on Thursday evenings at our home in Hilton. In addition, our circle will be hosting an open women’s mystery ceremony at each of the solstice points (June & December) at a local community venue.

Ishara and Miriam would like to gather those contemplating journeying with us this year for an opportunity to meet us, meet the priestesses, experience some of what we offer, and get a run-down of how we will work together this year (including costs).  The introductory evening costs $20 and this includes supper.  The circle will remain open until after the Autumn Equinox, at which time we will close it for the remainder of the year (this means that there are two opportunities to discern if this is right for you and to commit to the process).

So... Thursday March 11th at 7:30pm in the Moon Rose Caravan (out front of our home) in Hilton.

RSVP to: Ishara mobile: 0415 593408  Miriam mobile: 0405084945

We will be celebrating the Autumn Equinox mystery-point on Sunday 21st  March so also put this date in your diary if you would like to participate.

Miriam is happy to receive your emails and questions about anything to do with this year's process  - miriam@radiantwoman.com.au

These are the times that we were born for.

Blessings,
Miriam & Ishara

"We, the Daughters of Ishtar, do lovingly begin upon the work of restoring sacredness to our embodied experience as women, affirming that it is in each of us, by virtue of our womanhood, to be Her priestess.  This we pledge out of love for ourselves, our sisters and She Who Is, Was and Shall Be - so that the blessings of Her life-giving juices may flow, restoring the world in beauty and bringing healing to the Earth and all Her creatures."
